Washington National Cathedral

Stained glass designs available as 'Static Cling' window decorations

Washington National Cathedral
Washington National Cathedral is located in the capital of the United States, Washington D.C. It was built in the Neo-Gothic style inspired by English Gothic architecture, recognizable by ceiling vaulting, pointed arches and wonderful stained glass windows. Construction of the cathedral began in 1907, and the cornerstone was laid by President Theodore Roosevelt. Washington National Cathedral is the home of the wonderful ‘Space Window’ that has a piece of moon rock encased within it, collected by the Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.
