The Basilica de San Isidoro

Stained glass designs available as 'Static Cling' window decorations

The Basilica de San Isidoro
The Basilica de San Isidoro is located in León, Spain. Over the centuries the location has been a Roman temple to the god Mercury, and a 10th century monastery before becoming a basilica dedicated to Saint Isidore in 1063. As well as the Basilica the site houses a royal funeral chapel and a museum which houses Saint Isidore's relics. The museum is home to the Chalice of Doña Urraca, an onyx and jewelled chalice that has been carbon dated between 200 BC and 100 AD, which is rumoured to be the Holy Grail.
