Granada Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Incarnation, was built in the Renaissance and Baroque style in 1523 on the site of an ancient mosque. Many architects worked on the design and construction and it building work took over 180 years to complete. Granada Cathedral interiors are white, symbolically for purity. As a result of this interior the colourful stained glass windows, along with the gold decorative elements, transforms the cathedral.
