Coventry Cathedral

Stained glass designs available as 'Static Cling' window decorations

Coventry Cathedral
Coventry Cathedral, or St. Michael's Church was built between the 14th and 15th Century. Unfortunately, it was almost destroyed in 1940 during the Coventry Blitz. The decision to rebuild was taken the day after its destruction, and the new modernistic building was constructed next to the ruins of St. Michaels Church. The foundation stone for this building was laid in 1956 by Her Majesty the Queen. Coventry Cathedral is home to beautiful stained glass including the impressive Baptistry Window by John Piper, which is made up of 195 colourful abstract panels.
