Westminster Abbey

Stained glass designs available as 'Static Cling' window decorations

Westminster Abbey
These designs are re-drawn from stained glass windows at Westminster Abbey and make lovely inexpensive gifts and souvenirs. Westminster Abbey is an important church in British history. Since 1066 the coronation of every British monarch has been held in the abbey, as well as 16 royal weddings. The site has been used for worship since the 7th Century but construction of the present church began in 1245. It is home to the tomb of the Unknown Warrior and some lovely stained glass windows. In 2013 new windows by Hughie O'Donoghue were installed in the Lady Chapel to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen’s coronation.
