Didsbury

Stained glass designs available as 'Static Cling' window decorations

Didsbury
The Old Parsonage, Didsbury, was left to the people of Didsbury and Manchester in 1919 on the death of it's owner Fletcher Moss. It became an art gallery and museum run by Manchester City Council. This closed in 1982 and the Old Parsonage is now managed by a trust. It is used as an exhibition space and venue for community classes and events. The stained glass roundels (below) are details from the 6 windows around a rare stained glass sun dial designed by Fletcher Moss. The trust has recently received National Lottery Heritage Funding to restore the windows and sundial.
