Warwick Castle was originally built in 1068 by William the Conqueror, and the castle was rebuilt in the 12th century using stone. In its long lifetime the castle has been owned as a crown property by seven different Kings and Queens as well as many great families such as the Beauchamp’s, Neville’s and Plantagenet’s.
