Emblems
These various emblems are symbolic of English heritage - from the Red Lion, to the Union Flag, they are distinctive of the country and the culture. The most prevalent image in English heritage is that of the Tudor rose symbolising the unification of the House of York and he House of Lancaster, and the Tudor dynasty that ruled for 118 years. The heraldic emblem has been used throughout history and can still be seen today on English currency.
